Posada de la Misión, was inaugurated in 1940, and after seventy years it is still managed by Mrs. Elena Trauwitz de Berger and her husband Mr. Henry Berger Schmidt. They have made it into one of the most superb and successful tourist complexes in the state of Guerrero.

Its aim is to continue serving Mexico by encouraging tourism.

The property, known in Taxco as "Cerro de la Misión" because of the hermitage located at the top was acquired in 1936 by Don José J. Razo. The main idea was to build centres for tourists from the North borders down to the South.

In 1936, Elena Razo, before the unfortunate death of her father, gave up her studies in Germany and came back to Mexico to make real the visionary and monumental work of her father. Despite her youth, she achieved that gigantic work with tenacity and talent.

Accommodation

All rooms have:
TV with cable, telephone, and bathroom; most of the with terrace and city view, beautifully and nicely decorated.

The capacity of the rooms is of two, four or six persons, with the following options: king size or queen size bed, with two queen size, two singles or one queen size and two single beds.

• Junior Suite room 116: Equipped with TV and cable, telephone, and bathroom. Available with Queen size or King size bed, with two single or Queen size beds, a Queen size bed with one or two single beds.
• Casa Xochitle 4 Pax Room 90 Master suite with sitting room, living room, dinning room, two Queen size beds, view of the city and private swimming pool.
• Casa Los Platanos 4 Pax Room 92 with sitting room, two bedrooms with two single beds each.
• Casa Los Geranios 6 Pax Room 93 with sitting room, two bedrooms, one with two queen size beds, and the other one with two single beds.
• Cassa Los Helechos 4 Pax Room 94 with sitting room, one bedroom, a queen size bed and a single bed.
• Santa Prisca 4 Pax Room 113 Two floors each with a sitting room. In every bedroom there is a king size bed with views of the city and swimming pool.
• San Sebastian 3 Pax Room 112 With dining room, living room, two bedrooms, the main one with a king size bed, and the other with a single bed, fireplace, kitchen (ornamental), mini-bar, two bathrooms, one with bathtub, and the other toilet kind. Beautiful view of Taxco
• Acapulco 4 Pax Room 236 Situated in the highest of the Guerrero buildings, with two queen size beds, fireplace, bathroom with bathtub, living room and terrace with a spectacular view.
• Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Rooms 237 and 238 Next to the Acapulco suite, with the difference of a king size bed, a beautiful panoramic living room, has a communicating room (Zihuatanejo Suite) with two queen size beds, also with a great panoramic view.

We have four main areas for events and conventions:

• Elena Razo Hall. For business meetings. Exclusiveness and privacy guaranteed. For about 150 people.
• Jose Razo Hall. For business meetings. Accommodates up to 60 people, suitable for banquets for up to 100 people.
• Juan Ruiz de Alarcón Theatre. For large conventions. Suitable for plays, displays, presentations etc. Can accommodate up to 500 people.
• Taxco Hall. For social events or business meetings.
