The B&B, offers high quality bed & breakfast in three comfortable,
en-suite rooms. The attractive house sits opposite High Tor, a towering
rock-face very popular with climbers, between Matlock and Matlock Bath.
Matlock Bath, a former Regency playground, sits in the dramatic surroundings
of a limestone gorge on the very edge of the Peak District, where there
is plenty to see and do for all ages.
Derbyshire and in particular the areas surrounding Matlock Bath offer
great walking country, and there are lots of local interesting sites
to visit on foot, such as the ancient village of Riber with it's grand
hall, now a hotel, and imposing castle.
The surrounding Peak District is perfect for both holiday-makers wishing
to relax, and for those looking for a more active break. There is lots
for children to enjoy in the area too, in particular Gulliver's Kingdom
in Matlock Bath, an attractive family theme park, best suited to younger
kids.
Chatsworth,
Haddon Hall, the market town of Bakewell, Buxton and lots of other attractions
are all a short drive away.
